Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tattoo and medical tattoo services provided by Marharyta Kokri, trading as Freedom Ink, located at 23 Goodge Street, London, W1T 2PL ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or receiving our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services Provided
We provide traditional tattoo artistry and medical tattooing services including but not limited to:
- Custom tattoo design and application
- Medical camouflage tattooing
- Areolar restoration
- Scar camouflage
- Semi-permanent makeup (SPMU)
- Consultation and aftercare guidance
3. Eligibility and Medical Disclosure
You must be at least 18 years of age to receive our services. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your medical history
- Disclose any allergies, skin conditions, medications, or health conditions that may affect the procedure
- Inform us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any contraindications
- Follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided
We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe the procedure may pose a health risk or if you fail to provide necessary medical information.
4. Consultation and Consent
Before any procedure, you will receive a consultation to discuss your requirements, expectations, and any risks. You must provide explicit written consent before treatment begins. This consent includes understanding that you are responsible for permanent results such as pigment fade, possible skin reaction, scarring, and dissatisfaction with results.
5. Booking and Payment
A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cancel the appointment. Full payment is due on the day of service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments.
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of your deposit.
6. Aftercare and Results
You are responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided. Failure to do so may result in infection, poor healing, or unsatisfactory results. We cannot guarantee specific cosmetic, aesthetic, or medical results, and results vary by individual.
Touch-up sessions may be offered within a specified timeframe. Additional charges may apply for touch-ups after this period.
7. Photography and Marketing
We may photograph your tattoo for portfolio, marketing, and educational purposes. Your face and identifying features will be removed or obscured. For medical tattooing, before-and-after photography will only be published with your explicit consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
We maintain professional indemnity insurance and adhere to industry standards. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Adverse reactions due to undisclosed medical conditions or allergies
- Poor healing or infection resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions
- Dissatisfaction with artistic interpretation where design was approved in consultation
- Natural changes to tattoo appearance over time due to aging, sun exposure, or lifestyle factors
- Any claim that does not exceed the amount paid for the service in question
9. Health and Safety
We comply with all relevant health and safety regulations. All equipment is single use, and we follow strict hygiene protocols. Needles and other single-use items are disposed of safely in accordance with clinical waste requirements.
10. Intellectual Property
All custom designs created by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may not reproduce, sell, or distribute these designs without our permission.
11. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle your information.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be published on our website and apply to all services booked after the effective date.
